Centegra to offer free lectures about irregular heartbeat, celiac disease

Centegra Health System will offer two free lectures in June to provide the community an opportunity to learn more about a variety of health topics. Community members will hear a physician speak about irregular heartbeats and a dietitian will speak about symptom prevention for celiac disease.

Join Dr. Mehran Jabbarzadeh, an independent electrophysiologist on the medical staff at Centegra Health System, as he discusses various types of atrial fibrillation along with causes and symptoms.

"Getting the Beat to Go On and On," will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley, 10450 Algonquin Road. Space is limited. Registration is required. To register, call (877) CENTEGRA (236-8347).

• When someone has been diagnosed with celiac disease, small intestinal troubles and painful symptoms may occur. The warning signs can be bloating, weight loss and diarrhea.
