Poinsettias, pottery on sale at McHenry County College

McHenry County College students will host a Pottery and Poinsettia Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the college's commons area, Building B, at 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake.

MCC ceramics students will sell one-of-a-kind handcrafted vases, trays, bowls, plates and mugs as well as other artistic pieces. The college's horticulture department will be offering several colors of poinsettias.

The event is open to the public. Admission is free.
