Volunteers needed for Lake in the Hills festival

The Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset Festival still has volunteer positions to fill, and it needs the community's help to succeed. Positions available include carnival wristband sales, over-21 beer bracelet sales, wine tasting event, kid's tent assistance and cleanup.

Individuals and groups are welcome. Wear your company logo to promote your business. Kids' Korner volunteers needed to help with kids' crafts and games.

Help is needed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31.

Businesses must have two representatives for these blocks of time. They can have their promotional materials out and it is an opportunity to interact with the residents as their children participate in the activity.

Festival hours are 4 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29; 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and 31.
