Learn to ballroom dance

Bring a partner and learn how to shine at your next party or wedding with a ballroom dance class offered by McHenry County College's Continuing Education Department.

Ballroom Dance: Enjoy learning classic dances such as the Swing, American Waltz, Foxtrot, and the Rhumba. All ages are welcome; couples only. Class takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. Fridays Sept. 5-Oct. 17, course ID NSD S03 009). Another class is offered from 7 to 8 p.m. Fridays, course ID NST S09 013. Both classes meet in the cafeteria, Room B177. Cost of either class is $149 per couple.

Intermediate Ballroom Dance: Take your dancing skills and style to the next level as you learn more advanced steps and turns in the dances taught in the beginner class. Students must have the beginner's class or have previous ballroom dance experience to take the intermediate level class. Class takes place from 8 to 9 p.m. Sept. 5- Oct. 17 in the cafeteria, Room B177. Cost is $149 per couple. Use course ID NSD S09 010 when registering.
