Local Chorus Offers Free Voice Lessons

Calling all shower, car radio, karaoke singers, no stage singing experience required, you do not even have to read music! Come and have fun for the summer with women who love to sing. The Spring Valley women's a cappella chorus is offering free voice lessons Tuesdays starting June 24 through July 22 in Schaumburg. Come and visit and hear what it's all about- no obligations. The Spring Valley Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International which is a global organization of women singers with over 23,000 members around the world.

The Spring Valley Chorus is a group of 20 talented women from all walks of life who enjoy singing and performing. The chorus rehearses on Tuesday from 7:30PM - 10:00PM at the Barn of Schaumburg, 231 Civic Drive Schaumburg.

Each chorus rehearsal includes a voice lesson in addition to working on a variety of songs and choreography. Barbershop music is a uniquely American art form and the Spring Valley Chorus seeks to preserve and promote this unique form of entertainment
