Lost Valley Visitor Center to host open house

Have you wanted to make it out to the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, but have found it difficult with your work hours?

Now you can take advantage of the extended business hours during McHenry County Conservation District's Lost Valley Visitor Center Open House from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, in Glacial Park at Route 31 and Harts Road, Ringwood.

Enjoy an evening view of Glacial Park from the patio and Valley Overlook Room, free Wi-Fi, a child/adult library, and shorebird art exhibit.

Take advantage of help from staff on the first day of registration for summer programs. Light refreshments will be provided.
