Foundation Now Accepting Applications for 2014 Grant Cycle --

Waukegan, IL—December 4, 2013 - The Lake County Community Foundation, an affiliate of The Chicago Community Trust, announces the 2014 grant cycle is now open and online Project Screening Forms will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014.
Eligible nonprofit organizations proposing projects aligned with the Foundation's funding priorities -- advancing Livable Communities, the development of Human Capital, Efficient Governance, Regional Mobility, Sustaining the Health and Human Services System and Advocacy and Public Policy -- are encouraged to submit Project Screening Forms for an opportunity to respond to the Foundation's Request for Proposal (RFP).

In June 2013, The Lake County Community Foundation announced $199,900 in grants to ten local nonprofit organizations that demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving the urgent needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the county.
