South Elgin 13, East Aurora 0: Alex Wolfe was 4-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI and Ryan Nutof went 3-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI to lead the Storm to an Upstate Eight Valley win. Nutof also pitched a 2-hitter for South Elgin (13-10, 12-10) with 12 strikeouts and 1 walk, while Riley Halter (2-for-4, 2B), Joe Crivolio (3-for-4, 2 doubles, RBI) and David Palmer (3B, RBI) also contributed to the offense.

St. Charles North 6, Elgin 0: Alex Buttell had a double for the Maroons (6-20, 5-18) in this UEC River loss.

CL South 13, Dundee-Crown 1: Ryan Wilkening threw a 1-hitter with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk to lead the Gators to a Fox Valley Conference win. Troy Bittenbender (3-for-4, RBI), Paul Wille (2-for-3, 2B, RBI) and Garrett Bright (2-for-3, 2B, RBI) led the offense for Crystal Lake South (17-5, 14-5), while Tom Gaede and Max Meitzler added doubles. Garrett Ryan had a double for Dundee-Crown.

Huntley 8, Burlington Central 7: Matt Sullivan (2-for-3, RBI), Colin Lyman (2 RBI) and Tyler Mundak (RBI) led Huntley to this nonconference win. Jake Wagner was the winning pitcher for the Red Raiders (23-4). Mike Lee went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Rockets and Alex Bell suffered the loss on the mound.

Kaneland 4, Cary-Grove 1: Andrew Splitt was 2-for-2 with a double and Rob Johnson went 2-for-3 with an RBI but Cary-Grove lost this nonconference game. Trey Herman took the loss for the Trojans (18-10).

Batavia 14, Streamwood 4: Eric Hamlin was 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Kevin Sojda went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Matt Harding had a double for Streamwood in the UEC River. Harding was also the losing pitcher for the Sabres (5-20, 5-18).

Prairie Ridge 8, Jacobs 7: Joe Rizzuto (2-for-3, 2 doubles, RBI), Grant Kale (3 RBI) and Ben Murray (2B) led the Jacobs offense in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division loss. Tim Hubner took the loss for the Golden Eagles.

Metea Valley 7, Bartlett 6: Mike Roberson (2-for-3, 2B, RBI), Ryan Karrick (2B, 2 RBI), Colin Nowak (2B) and Matt Vitulli (3-for-4, 2 RBI) led the Bartlett (13-11, 12-11) offense in this UEC Valley loss.
