NEDSRA spring formal a hit with dancers.

NEDSRA held its annual Spring Formal Dance for adults with intellectual disabilities this past Friday, April 12th, at the beautiful Itasca Country Club. Attendees dressed in their finest outfits received corsages and boutonnieres (donated by USA Bouquet-Itasca) to compliment their formal wear adding an elegant touch to this prom-like evening. A sumptuous 4-course meal was served to give the dancers needed fuel for the night. A drawing to anoint a King and Queen of the dance was held with Yvonne Blais of Villa Park receiving a tiara and bouquet of flowers. Sam Elmore, also of Villa Park, was crowned the king. Approximately 100 local residents were in attendance. DJ Eric Brandt provided a wide variety of music that had the crowd dancing the night away.
