St. Edward d. Guerin: Katie Swanson had 11 kills and 8 digs and Shannon Igielski added 7 kills and 5 digs to lead the Green Wave to a 22-25, 25-22, 25-13 Suburban Christian Conference win. Cece Rapp (5 kills), Casey Gredzieleski (20 assists), Allison Kruk (11 digs) and Clara McDowell (9 digs) also contributed for St. Edward (14-17, 6-4).

Jacobs d. Dundee-Crown: Jacobs won the Fox Valley (Valley) matchup that was also a prelude to next Monday’s regional opener, 25-19, 25-21. Steph Magsamen had 9 kills for Dundee-Crown, while Cori Eischen added 12 assists and Julia Parreno had 6 digs for the Chargers (12-18, 1-11).
