Wauconda reschedules fireworks:

Postponed because of the summer drought, Wauconda’s annual fireworks show has been rescheduled for Sept. 29. The explosions will begin at dusk at the park district headquarters, 600 N. Main St. If it rains, the show will be held Sept. 30.
