Family Camp Out Fun at Vernon Hills Y Aug. 4 - 5
Families can spend some quality time together during a new summertime event at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. Family Camp Out takes place from 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 to 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5.
It's an opportunity for families to get to know each other better and meet other families at the same time. Activities include outdoor games, a “hike” to the park, swimming, a cookout, s'mores over a nighttime campfire and breakfast on Sunday morning. In the event of inclement weather, Family Camp Out will take place indoors at Central Lake Y.
