School's Out Fun for Kids at Vernon Hills Y June 9-10

Kids ages 7-13 can kick off the summer with an overnight “lock-in” party at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. This special event begins Saturday, June 9, at 5:30 p.m. and continues through 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 10.

The fun includes dinner Saturday evening, “glow” swimming in the Central Lake pool, games, movies and finally breakfast on Sunday morning. Children not wanting to stay overnight can be picked up by their parents Saturday at 10:30 p.m.

Registration fees are $20 for members of the Y and $30 for community members. In addition, there are opportunities for parents to serve as volunteer helpers at this event. To sign up, or for more information, visit the Welcome Center at Central Lake YMCA or call (847) 367-6797.
