Johnsburg 4, Hampshire 3: Becca Vodraska (3B), Jen Hurst and Becca Hurst each had 2 hits for Hampshire in this Fox Valley Conference Fox Division loss. Jen Jurst (9-14) took the loss for the Whip-Purs (11-20, 4-7).

Chicago Christian 8, St. Edward 0: St. Edward had just 3 singles, by Kali Kossakowski, Ryann Scully and Kristi Kroll, in this Suburban Christian loss. Morgin Coughlin took the loss for the Green Wave (7-19, 5-11).

Lake Zurich 5, Jacobs 1: Jacobs managed just 2 hits in this nonconference loss. Tori Berg took the loss for the Golden Eagles (16-13).

Lakes 9, CL South 4: Hannah Mahoney had a home run and Liz Adams a double for the Gators (17-10) in nonconference play. Heather Eck was the losing pitcher.

College softball

Judson eliminated: Judson was eliminated from the NCCAA World Series with losses of 9-0 to No. 1 California Baptist and 3-1 to Emmanuel College. Sarah Boyer and Sam Gladen suffered the pitching losses for the Eagles (28-27).
