Center of Concern volunteers to collect donations for Alzheimer's disease on May 19
Volunteers from The Center of Concern, a Park Ridge not-for-profit serving the elderly, will collect donations to fight Alzheimer's disease on Saturday, May 19. Volunteers will collect donations from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in front of the Dominick's grocery store at 1900 S. Cumberland Ave. in Park Ridge (Cumberland Avenue and Higgins Road). Donors will receive packets of Forget-Me-Not flower seeds. The donation drive is part of the Alzheimer's Association's Forget-Me-Not Days, being held statewide on May 18 and 19.
