Marion Central to host all-night bingo

Submitted by Marian Central

On Saturday, April 21, Marian Central Catholic High School’s Fathers Club is hosting an All Night Bingo event at the school. Proceeds from the bingo program are used to fund capital improvements. The school doors open at 5 p.m. The Bingo Hall doors open at 6 p.m. Games will begin at 7:30 p.m. and continue all night long. The St. Margaret Mary Knights of Columbus will be offering a “Midnight Breakfast” for $5 following the first session.

A $30 deposit reserves a seat and a 36-sheet set. Seating will be determined by the order the paid reservations are received. Reservations have priority seating until 6:30 p.m. The earlier your deposit is received, the lower your seating reservation number will be. They begin handing out reservation numbers at 5 p.m. on Saturday. You may save a seat for others only if you pay for and pick up their card sets. The card sets must be placed on the table for each seat saved. Walk-ins are welcome, but they recommend reservations for the best choice of seating. Walk-ins will be seated after 6:30 p.m. in the order in which they arrive.

They will have bingo supplies and plenty of food for sale. There also will be pull-tabs and door prizes. There will be two complete sessions with a guarantee of $4,000 plus special games. There is a minimum charge of $30 for the entire evening, which includes 15 cards for each session. Additional cards will be on sale (6 for $5) as well as special games (1 sheet of 4 for $1). It is a nonsmoking facility.

They only use daubers, and will be unable to accept checks or credit cards on Saturday, April 21. Before Bingo Night, you can make checks payable to the Marian Central Fathers’ Club and mail reservations to Marian Central Fathers Club, attn.: Peggy Murwin, 1001 McHenry Ave., Woodstock, IL 60098. If you have any questions, call Peggy at (815) 338-4220, ext. 106.
