Meet McHenry County candidates at next voters forum

The McHenry County League of Women Voters is hosting forums featuring McHenry County Board candidates and State Legislature candidates. The event, which is nonpartisan, will include questions submitted by the audience.

The forums will be held Sept. 26-28 at McHenry County College Luecht Conference Center.

The forum for candidates from McHenry County Board District 1, 2 and 3 will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26.

The forum for candidates from County Board District 4, 5 and 6 will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.

The forum for state representative candidates for District 52 Dee Beaubien, an Independent, Dave McSweeney, a Republican, and state Senate candidates for District 26 Amanda Howland, a Democrat, and Republican incumbent Dan Duffy at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29.
