Feed Lords Park Zoo bison Feb. 25
Get an up-close and personal look at the bison, deer and elk at the Lords Park Zoo on Saturday, Feb. 25. Meet at the Elgin Public Museum for a short introduction and afterward head to the zoo to assist the Lords Park zookeeper in feeding these magnificent creatures. Dress for the weather — the animals need to be feed, even when it's snowing.
The Bison Feeding will begin at 7 a.m. at the museum building, located in Elgin's Lords Park at 225 Grand Blvd. Cost is $2, or $1 for children; museum members are free.
