Guest lecturer: "Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion across the Islamic World."

Author Robin Wright will deliver a lecture with the same title as her latest book Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion across the Islamic World, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 26.

Dr. Wright has authored a number of books on the Middle East. As a news correspondent, she has reported from more than 140 countries on six continents for The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, TIME, Atlantic Monthly, Foreign Affairs and others.

Wright has been a fellow at Yale, Duke and Stanford and been honored with many awards including the U.N. Correspondents Gold Medal, the National Magazine Award, and the Overseas Press Club Award for "best reporting in any medium requiring exceptional courage and initiative."
