Montini clinches Blue title

Kateri Stone scored 13 points, Tianna Brown added 9 points and 10 rebounds and No. 6 Montini overwhelmed Walther Lutheran in the second half for a 61-24 win in Lombard.

Montini (21-5, 7-0 Suburban Christian Conference Blue), leading 21-16 at halftime, outscored Walther Lutheran (16-8, 5-3) 40-8 in the second half to clinch a share of the SCC Blue title. Nikia Edom added 8 points and Kelly Karlis 7.
