Hoffman downs Prairie Ridge

Hoffman Estates 57, Prairie Ridge 42: All-tournament pick Austin Terry scored 11 points to lead a balanced scoring effort for Hoffman (2-1) at Crystal Lake Central.

All-tourney pick Sammy Wilks and Joseph Biko had 10 points and Brian Cvitkovich had 8 for Hoffman, which held Prairie Ridge to 6 points in the fourth quarter.

Meadows 60, Palatine 41: Tyler Gaedele scored a game-high 17 points and hit five 3s as Rolling Meadows (1-3) won the seventh-place game of Palatine's Ed Molitor Classic.

Brian Nelms and Mike Dolan added 9 points apiece and Mike Rose scored 8 points as the Mustangs used a 21-8 second quarter to take a 37-20 halftime lead. Freshman Roosevelt Smart scored 11 points to lead Palatine (0-4).

Brooks 60, Barrington 52: Barrington fell to 2-2 in the Mundelein tournament.

Northridge Prep 38, Leyden 36: Northridge Prep (4-0) took the title of the tournament it hosts with Ridgewood. Leyden finished 3-1.
