COD's 'Explore Engineering' open house Nov. 4

High school juniors and seniors and college freshmen are invited to attend “Explore Engineering,” an annual open house that will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, in the Health and Science Center, Room 1234, at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

Representatives from such prestigious engineering schools as Bradley University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Northern Illinois University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will be on hand to speak with students.

Sponsored by COD's Engineering Club, the event will allow students to explore a variety of careers, including bioengineering, civil/structural engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and mechanical engineering.
