Page Turners to discuss Edgar Allan Poe Oct. 27

The College of DuPage Page Turners book club will discuss works by Edgar Allan Poe on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Services Center, Room 3245 on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. This session is free and open to the community.

Lauded as the father of the modern detective story and known for his love of the macabre, Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) was a master of the short story genre and an esteemed poet. Scheduled for discussion at the Oct. 27 Page Turners event are literary classics, “The Raven,” “The Black Cat,” “Annabel Lee” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.”
