Compete at sand volleyball tourney

The McHenry County College Lady Scots’ volleyball team, in conjunction with the MCC Athletics Department, is sponsoring a Beach Volleyball Tournament and Fundraiser at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13.

The event will be held at Sideouts, 4018 Roberts Road, Island Lake. This is a four-person, co-ed-team, sand volleyball event. All proceeds directly benefit the MCC Volleyball program and the team’s travel to various tournaments throughout the Midwest during the upcoming 2011 fall season.

Team entry fee is $140 which includes food, and there will be cash prizes for the winners.
