COD Receives $100,000 DCEO Grant for Small Business Development Center

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity recently awarded a $100,000 grant to the College of DuPage Small Business Development Center for the development of a a Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services (TIES) Center.

College of DuPage's SBDC was one of just 10 small business development centers in Illinois selected to pilot this one-year statewide program.

The College's TIES Center will provide technical assistance, consultation and programmatic support to high growth and technology oriented small businesses in the northeast region of Illinois, focusing in particular on west suburban communities.

The TIES Center will operate on the Lisle campus, 2525 Cabot Drive, in concert with the College's SBDC, International Trade Center and Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
