Chiro One Wellness Center of Bloomingdale attends Serenity House Annual Fundraiser
Dr. Kristen Van De Carr, Clinic Director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Bloomingdale recently attended Serenity House's Annual Fundraiser along with team members Katie Kollar and Caitlin Acton.
Chiro One Wellness Center of Bloomingdale supports Serenity House each year with their Annual “Share the Abundance Food Drive.”
Doing their part to support their local community, Chiro One Wellness Center of Bloomingdale, under the direction of Clinic Director, Dr. Kristen Van De Carr collected over 1,600 lbs. of food that they donated last Thanksgiving to Serenity House in Addison. Chiro One patients and team members alike supported this effort.
“Serenity House serves over 350 individuals each year and Chiro One Wellness Center of Bloomingdale's food donation couldn't have come at a better time,” said Lisa Snipes, Vic President/Development Director, Serentiy House. "We were able to restock our shelves to help hundreds of people in need and we're grateful for the support."
"Every year, I'm always surprised and grateful to our patients for their heartfelt support," states Dr. Kristen Van De Carr. "Over the last few years, the donations have increased from 500 lbs., to 1,000 lbs. two years ago, to over 1,600 lbs. of food this past year! Each year, they just give more and more and it's inspiring to see them give during these difficult times."
Chiro One Wellness Centers' Fifth Annual Food Drive was held last November at all 57 Chiro One Wellness Centers and yielded over 16,000 lbs. of food that was donated to Feeding Illinois and local pantries. Dr. Kristen Van De Carr is accepting new patients and can be reached at (630) 351-1071.
