Sarah Field earned a complete-game victory in the circle and went 4-for-4 at the plate with 2 doubles, a home run and 4 RBI to lift the red-hot Green Wave to an 11-7 win in the Suburban Christian Conference.

The win was the ninth straight and 12th in 13 games for St. Edward (12-7, 8-2), which took sole possession of second place in the Gold Division of the SCC with the win. Other Green Wave offensive contributors included Kali Kossakoswki (3-for-4, 2 runs), Tarah McShane (2-for-4, RBI, run), Maddie Kerr (2 RBI) and Ashley Gradisher (1-for-3, walk, 2 runs).

Bartlett 8, Lake Park 3: Lisa Matsie homered twice and drove in 6 runs, and Tori Burke gave up only 3 runs on 9 hits and overcame 3 Bartlett errors in an Upstate Eight victory in Roselle. Nicole Beck went 3-for-3, drove in a run and scored twice, Cassie Hernandez doubled twice and Kaylyn Zierke added a double for Bartlett (12-10, 9-3), which won its fifth straight.

Elgin 11, East Aurora 0: The Maroons rapped out 14 hits to cruise in a five-inning Upstate Eight game in Elgin. Monica Stockman went 3-for-4 with a solo homer run and 2 RBI, Jaclyn Navarro doubled and drove in 2 runs and Kelly Bremer drove in 2 runs. Hannah Perryman (7-4) pitched 3 hitless innings for the victory and she went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored for Elgin (15-11, 4-8).

St. Charles East 14, Larkin 2: The Royals were outhit 12-6 and committed 4 errors in an Upstate Eight Conference loss in Elgin. Pitcher Kienan Schock (5-7) took the loss despite going 3-for-3 at the plate. Alex Burhrow homered for Larkin (8-17, 1-8).

Waubonsie Valley 9, South Elgin 4: Katelyn Stonecipher went 2-for-4 with a double and Alyssa Buddle doubled, but the Storm dropped this Upstate Eight game after allowing 12 hits. Sam Bolin (10-7-1) took the loss for South Elgin (13-9, 6-5).

Jacobs 11, Woodstock North 0: Amber Livingston (4-3) pitched a 5-inning, 5-hit shutout and Alyssa Lach doubled and drove in 3 runs for Jacobs (12-10, 5-4).

Johnsburg 7, Dundee-Crown 3: Tiffany Rawlinson had 3 singles and drove in a run, Melany Love doubled and Jessie Lewandowski singled and drove in a run, but it wasn’t enough for D-C in a Fox Valley Conference loss. Sophomore Amanda Eissler took the loss for Dundee-Crown.Willows Academy 13, Westminster Christian 2: Katie Moeller went 2-for-3 and scored a run, but it wasn#146;t enough to stave off the visitors. Porsche Griggs took the loss for Westminster (6-7, 2-4).
