Glenbard West 10, Proviso West 0:Ben Krusen struck out 12, walked two and allowed only 3 hits over 5 innings as the Hilltoppers (6-12, 2-5) rolled to a West Suburban Silver win. Tom Alt doubled twice and drove in 2 runs while Mike Laning also doubled and drove in a run.Wheaton North 10, West Aurora 1:The Falcons (9-4, 4-2 DuPage Valley Conference) broke a 1-1 tie by scoring 9 runs in the final three innings. Winning pitcher Eric Scandora (4-1) fired a 2-hitter. Jake Schieber, Kevin Fahy and Ed Norris each went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Waubonsie Valley 10, East Aurora 1:A 6-run burst in the bottom of the fourth inning powered the Warriors (5-9, 4-5) to victory in the Upstate Eight Valley Conference win. Eric Josupait went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI. Ryan Vega drove in 2 runs with a double. Joey Cuzzone improved to 1-1 on the mound by striking out 10 over 6 innings.
