Fox River Grove library seeking muralist

The Fox River Grove Memorial Library, 407 Lincoln Ave. in Fox River Grove, is accepting proposals from professional artists to be considered for hire to design and paint a mural for the Youth Services Stairwell.

This project is made possible through the Fox River Grove Public Library and the Friends of the Fox River Grove Public Library District.

Any professional artist, 18 years of age or older, can submit an application.

All entries will be judged as part of selection process by the library’s Art Committee. A complete list of the rules, entry requirements, project guidelines and considerations are included in the application which can be picked up at the library.

Applications will be accepted through April 29 and the selected artist will be announced May 20. The work will be completed over this coming summer with an unveiling in September.
