Lauren Grady’s goal in the 60th minute off an assist from Catie Sherman gave the Jacobs girls soccer team a 1-0 win over Elk Grove Saturday in the Pepsi Showdown.

Monica Orjeula made 6 saves for the Golden Eagles in the net.

Huntley 1, New Trier 1: Bre Burry scored a second-half goal to lift the Red Raiders (8-1-1) to a tie with New Trier in the Pepsi Showdown. Katelyn Owens had 8 saves for Huntley.

Cary-Grove 2, Rockford Boylan 2: Beth Hughes and Lauren Harte scored goals for Cary-Grove (7-6-1) in this nonconference tie. Liz Kock and Mary Schneider had assists and Krystal Felderman made 6 saves in the net for the Trojans.

Metea Valley 2, CL South 0: Elizabeth Quinn had 6 saves in goal for the Gators in this tie at the Pepsi Showdown.

Geneva 6, Streamwood 0: Brianna Roppo made 14 saves and Hannah McGlone had 8 but Streamwood fell in the Upstate Eight Conference.
