Your dogs want a (spring) break too!
Travel is fun for humans but can be stressful and even dangerous for your canine companion. There is a way to give your dogs a fun spring break while you travel to find fun in the sun with your human friends.
Camp Ruff It, a cage-free boarding destination in Carol Stream, is delivering a unique dog-cation during the month of March. This is no ordinary boarding facility- it features 7500 square feet of fun, including large indoor play areas and a doggie lounge for resting or sleeping. Dogs large and small, young and old can enjoy the comforts of home while relaxing on couches, watching TV, listening to soothing music, or joining in the fun of a wide open space to play with doggie pals.
Camp Ruff It will be providing some extra special fun during the entire month of March, including:
* Tropical pet party photo emailed to you while you're enjoying your break. Head to the beach with a big smile on your face as you start your day with photo of your pup having a blast at Camp.
* Party dog treats. A lot of boarding facilities charge extra for every bit of special attention, including snacks. At Camp Ruff It, your dog will get an afternoon treat every day (as long as you don't request otherwise).
* A bath. While you're relaxing and recharging at the spa, we'll get Fido all cleaned up and fluffy so they come home fresh and clean.
There is a designated area for small dogs, senior dogs and ‘special needs' dogs. “We have a couple of blind dogs and a diabetic dog who requires daily injections that have done tremendously well with extra TLC from our staff. Dog parents can feel comfortable leaving their dogs, which need some individualized care, with us,” says owner Ted Schwartz.
The dogs sleep slumber party-style in the big dog lounge with overnight staff. Private suite boarding is also available if the client desires.
Camp Ruff It aims to not only ease the minds of pet owners, but also to make life easier for busy clients, offering a Pet Taxi to transport dogs to and from home and grooming appointments.
Camp Ruff It offers cage-free play and boarding for dogs in a clean, safe and secure environment. Dogs can socialize, have fun, get plenty of exercise or just hang out with the pack. There is open playtime, TV, soothing music, treats, baths, comfy sofas and cozy sleeping cots.
Camp Ruff It, located at 399 Gundersen Dr., Carol Stream, is open 365 days a year with 24 hour staffing. Day care hours are from 6:30am – 7pm everyday for your convenience. The team's highest priority is the safety and well-being of the dogs in their care. To find out more, please visit www.campruffit.com.
