Hampshire 45, Sycamore 44: Alex Dumoulin's 24 points powered Hampshire to a close victory over Sycamore, a team the Whip-Purs could face again in the upcoming Class 3A Sycamore regional. The Whips (19-2) led 30-22 at halftime but scored only 15 points in the final two quarters.

Hoffman Estates 50, Huntley 46: Kadie Lowery scored 19 points but leading scorer Carly Goede was held to 10 as the Red Raiders (13-6) fell in nonconference action. Huntley led 23-13 after one quarter but couldn't sustain the momentum.

Mooseheart 58, Westminster Christian 48: Mckaila Hays had 15 points and 4 steals, Claire Speweik 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Katie Moeller 10 points but the Warriors (12-8) lost this nonconference game at home. Hannah Graves added 17 rebounds for Westminster.

South Elgin 60, CL South 51 (OT): Still without injured scoring leader, South Elgin got 24 points from freshman Savanah Uveges and got past Crystal Lake South in a nonconference game on the road. Lania Robinson added 14 points for the Storm (11-10), while Brittany Pittas led the Gators (2-18) with 26 points.

Trinity 61, Jacobs 18: Melanie Schwerdtmann led Jacobs (3-18) with 7 points in this nonconference loss to state-ranked Trinity.
