Hampshire 58, Harvard 45: Pat Azizi scored 21 points and Tyler Watzlawick added 15 as the Whip-Purs (5-2, 1-0) opened the Big Northern East season with a win.

CL South 61, Woodstock North 26: The Gators (5-3) jumped out to a 13-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back in this Fox Valley Conference crossover. Gavin Rubin had 13 points to lead CL South, and Robbie Lemke added 9.

U-High 86, Elgin Academy 55: Aaron Thomas had 18 points and Connor Flexman added 17 for the Hilltoppers (2-6, 1-3) in this Independent School League loss. Patrick Martinak added 10 points for Elgin Academy.

Jacobs 75, Johnsburg 45: The Golden Eagles (4-2) tuned up for their own tournament that starts today with a 30-point FVC crossover win on the road. Nick Hofman led Jacobs with 17 points, while Mike Peterson had 11, Alex Glover 10 and Will Schwerdtmann 8. Jacobs opens the Golden Eagle Classic at 7:30 p.m. today against Chicago Tilden.
