South Elgin d. Elgin: Laura Ballance had 10 kills, while Katelyn Stonecipher and Erica Williams added 11 digs each to lead the Storm past Elgin 25-22, 21-25, 25-16 in an Upstate Eight crossover. Courtney Sanocki added 23 assists for South Elgin (6-17-1). Bri Borban led Elgin with 8 kills, while Briana Hamilton added 7 kills, 3 blocks and an ace for the Maroons (2-22). Heather Gawaluck had 20 assists, 2 kills and 6 digs with Jenny Fulton adding 3 kills and 8 digs and Paige Snopko 3 kills for Elgin.

Addison Trail d. Bartlett: Lauren Hartford had 16 kills and Kelly Kraft added 10 but Bartlett fell in a tough nonconference match 17-25, 25-18, 26-24. Lauren Caruba had 11 digs for the Hawks (11-9-1) and Tori Burke added 29 assists.

Jacobs d. Wauconda: Alyssa Ehrhardt had 11 kills and 8 digs and Quinn Luehring 21 assists and 4 digs to lead Jacobs (9-6) to a 25-20, 25-13 nonconference win.

Westminster Christian d. Kirkland: Hannah Graves had 12 kills, 6 assists and 4 digs as the Warriors (14-8-1) won in nonconference play. Katie Surratt added 11 assists and 5 digs and Whitney Vanden Bos had 4 aces and 5 digs for Westminster.
