Cary-Grove 2, Carmel 0: Michael McKune scored unassisted and Jon Guay scored off an assist from Andy Matavina as the Trojans (5-2-1) won in nonconference action. Tom Breen had 4 saves in goal for Cary-Grove.

Neuqua Valley 2, Bartlett 1: Brett Dini scored Bartlett's goal on an assist from Chris Baumann in this Upstate Eight (Valley) loss. Alex Busch had 9 saves in goal for the Hawks (7-4, 1-2).

Lake Park 0, Streamwood 0: Jose Resendiz had 8 saves in goal for Streamwood (1-12-1) in this scoreless tie.
