Becca Smith had 11 kills and Laura Balance 8 kills and 8 digs as South Elgin outlasted Larkin 25-15, 18-25, 32-30 in an Upstate Eight Conference crossover girls volleyball match Thursday night in South Elgin.

The Storm (5-5-1) trailed 24-18 in Game 3 before rallying for the win.

Katelyn Stonecipher had 17 digs for South Elgin, while Courtney Sanocki and Erica Williams added nine each. Sanocki also had 27 assists and Jasmine Kuro added 7 kills.

Huntley d. McHenry: McHenry pushed Huntley to 3 games but the Red Raiders prevailed in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division 25-27, 25-17, 25-16. Sam Boesch had 15 kills and Eli Manning 15 assists for the Red Raiders (9-2, 1-1).

Westminster Christian d. Christian Liberty: Hannah Graves had 6 kills, 14 assists, 5 aces and 12 digs to lead the Warriors (7-6, 2-1) to a Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Cara Tyrell added 6 kills, 3 aces and 6 digs for Westminster and Whitney Vanden Bos had 5 aces, 6 digs and 16 good passes.

CL South d. Dundee-Crown: Hannah Burkle had 14 kills and Maureen Johnson added eight as the Gators (8-3, 1-1) rolled in the Fox Valley (Valley). Emmy Oraham had 28 assists for CLS and Katie Meyers added 5 digs. Alexis Holm had 5 kills and Tanna Svec 8 digs for Dundee-Crown (2-8, 0-2).
