Veterans assistance tonight at Harper

More than 20 military-friendly associations are offering veterans assistance from 6-9 p.m. today in the Wojcik Conference Center at Harper College in Palatine.

The free event is open to the public and is geared toward assisting veterans, active-duty military, National Guard, reserves and their families.

The event will feature resources from local, state and federal agencies including: the U.S. Department of Labor, Alexian Brothers Medical Center Veterans Program and Center, the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs and the Veterans of Foreign War Organization.
