Alexis Holm had 8 kills and Cassie Sommers added 12 digs as Dundee-Crown knocked off Woodstock 27-25, 21-25, 25-20 in a Fox Valley Conference crossover girls volleyball match Tuesday.

Tess Barnes had 20 assists for the Chargers (1-1) and Alexa Shemanske added 6 kills.

South Elgin d. Streamwood: Ashley Oandasan and Jasmime Kuro each had 6 kills and Ashley Hays added 7 digs as South Elgin downed Streamwood 25-18, 25-13 in the Storm's season opener. Laura Balance added 4 kills for South Elgin and Courtney Sanocki added 12 assists. Paige Donovan, Ashley Berrios and Maria Ranahan each had 3 kills for the Sabres, and Liz Simonelli added 6 digs.

Lake Park d. Elgin: Monica Stockman had 6 kills and Heather Gawaluck added 13 assists but Elgin (2-1) fell to Lake Park 25-10, 25-13 in nonconference action.

CL Central d. Jacobs: Alyssa Ehrhardt had 8 kills and Quinn Luehring registered 10 assists for Jacobs (1-1) in a 25-18, 25-20 Fox Valley crossover loss to Crystal Lake Central.

CL South d. Grayslake North: Taylor Granell had 9 kills and Emmy Oraham 10 assists as the Gators (5-1) rolled to a 25-13, 25-20 FVC crossover win.

Huntley d. Woodstock North: Sam Boesch had 6 kills and Kadie Lowery added 4 to lead Huntley (6-1) to a 25-6, 25-11 FVC crossover triumph.
