Waubonsie Valley d. Addison Trail: Martha Stewart knocked down 8 kills as the Warriors won their season opener 25-13, 25-14. Ally Simmons added 5 kills and 3 blocks and Jill Galovic 11 digs and 2 aces. For Addison Trail Katie Keller had 4 kills and Katie O'Connor 11 digs.

York d. St. Charles North: Melissa Deatsch had 10 kills and Morgan Semmelhack 3 kills and 5 blocks for the Dukes in a 25-14, 25-22 road win.
