Huntley hosts garage saleThe Huntley Jaycees and the Huntley Park District will host the second annual community garage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 18 and 19. The event will be held in the REC Center parking lot, 12015 Mill St., Huntley. Registration for space can be done in person at the REC Center until June 11. It costs $15 to register for each day or $25 for both days. The fee provides a 10x10 foot space. You must bring your own tables and chairs, and may not sell food or beverages. Call (847) 669-3180 for more information.District 155 raises feesSeveral fees for students in Crystal Lake High School District 155 are going up next year. Registration will go from $66 to $68, locks will rise from $4 to $5, lunch will go from $2.25 to $2.50 and summer school tuition will rise from $150 to $180. The school board voted unanimously to increase the fees.Live music in AlgonquinStarting in July, music fans will be treated to free, live music at Riverfront Park on Thursday nights, once the Farmers Market closes for the day.
