Eola Road, Aurora. Tickets will be available at the door for $6 for students and $8 for adults. The show is a fundraiser for the Metea Valley Theater Department, as well as for the Red Cross Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund, which was selected by the Student PTSA as its global charitable initiative this year.Youth symphony ends season:The Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform its final concerts of its 34th season at 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Blizzard Theater at Elgin Community College, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin. The 4 p.m. show will include a performance from Michelle Chin, an eighth-grade violinist from Naperville and Young Artist Competition winner. The 7 p.m. show will feature a performance by Karen Darling, 18-year-old violinist from St. Charles, who is the Youth Symphony Young Artist Competition co-winner.AU planning graduation:Roughly 1,300 Aurora University students will receive degrees Sunday at the school's 117th commencement ceremonies on the campus quadrangle at 347 S. Gladstone Ave. The ceremony for graduate students is at 10 a.m., followed by the undergraduate ceremony at 2:30 p.m. School officials said 581 undergraduates will receive their bachelor's degrees as well as 694 students who will receive their master's and 25 who will receive Doctor of Education degrees.Keslinger Road closed:Keslinger Road over Welch Creek is closed through June 5 for bridge replacement.
