Amber Mysliwiec was simply grand.

The Antioch sophomore belted her second grand slam in four days, and Olivia Duehr fired a five-inning perfect game, as the Sequoits blanked Lakes 11-0 in the championship game of the District 117 Softball Invitational on Saturday.
Antioch's day also included a school-record 3 home runs, including a grand slam, in one game from Samie Seamon.
Mysliwiec's grand slam against Lakes broke open a 1-0 game in the third inning. She finished 3-for-3, adding a double and single. Jessie Liszka also doubled for the Sequoits.
Antioch (10-4) went 4-0 on the day, with other wins coming against Highland Park (16-0), Addison Trail (18-0) and Zion-Benton (5-2).
The Highland Park game featured a 4-for-5 effort (2 doubles) by Seamon. Lauren Moore was 2-for-4, while Liszka tripled, and Duehr and Jessica Ploss doubled.
Seamon was simply sensational against Addison Trail, going 4-for-4 with 8 RBI in addition to the 3 homers. Allie Anttila homered and tripled. Moore had a home run, double and 6 RBI. Like Seamon, Moore had a grand slam.
Antioch's win over Zion-Benton saw Moore go 2-for-3, while Liszka and Anttila cracked doubles.
For the day, Antioch outscored its four opponents 53-2, with both runs being unearned.
Lakes split its four games, defeating Richmond-Burton 6-5 and Geneva 5-3, and losing also to Johnsburg 4-2.
Lake Zurich goes 2-1 at Woodstock: The Bears fell to Conant 8-4, before bouncing back with wins over Naperville North, 8-5, and Harvard 14-0.
Megan Mattera homered against Conant, while Alli McGinnis doubled and drove in 3 runs. Amanda Orchard and Kelly Neisis both went 3-for-4, and Erin Sweeney smacked a double.
In their win over Naperville North, the Bears received 3-for-4 efforts from McGinnis (double, stolen base), Mattera (4 RBI) and Tabbetha Bohac (homer, double, 2 RBI). Neisis was 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and a stolen base.
Lake Zurich (10-7) closed the day by pounding out 18 against Harvard. The Bears got big games from McGinnis (2-for-4, double, triple, 4 RBI), Ella Aslan (3-for-4, 3 runs), Neisis (2-for-2, 3 runs), Sweeney (2-for-3, 2 RBI), Orchard (2-for-4, triple, stolen base, RBI), Bohac (2-for-3, 3 runs, stolen base) and Kelli Blume (3-for-4, RBI).
Grant sweeps Grayslake North: The visiting Bulldogs won 18-1 and 4-0, as Brie Brugioni pitched a 2-hitter with 15 strikeouts in the second game.
In the opener, Grant (6-6) got homers from Brugioni and Kelly Kucharski, while winning pitcher Rachel DePouw poked 2 doubles.
Stevenson splits with Palatine: Amanda Jaegers doubled twice and went 3-for-5 with an RBI, as the Patriots won 10-7 in Game 1 of the nonconference doubleheader.
Emma Patrash (2-for-5, 2 RBI), Rebekah Ozga (2-for-5, RBI) and Ashley Niedermayer (2-for-4, 2 RBI) also hit doubles for the Patriots, while Allie Micucci allowed 3 earned runs in earning the win. She struck out six.
Palatine won Game 2 by a 6-3 score, despite Stevenson (6-8) receiving 2-for-3 efforts from Patrash and Jordan Willis. Jaegers and Willis hit doubles.
Libertyville sweeps Buffalo Grove: The visiting Wildcats won 5-1 and 6-3.
Andie Grant pitched Libertyville to victory in Game 1, receiving offensive support from Toni Kintzel (3-for-4, RBI), Olivia Wilcox (2-for-4, 2 stolen bases) and Nicole Kruckman (double).
Calley Kaluzny pitched Libertyville (5-7) to the win in Game 2, as she tossed the first 41/3 innings before giving way to Grant. Kruckman went 3-for-3 with 3 runs scored and an RBI, while Kintzel was 2-for-4 and scored twice. Wilcox doubled and knocked in a pair. Mandy Vogg and Danielle Kaczmar each had singles.
Marist sweeps Carmel: The Corsairs opened East Suburban Catholic Conference action with 11-2 and 12-0 losses.
Carmel fell to 3-8 overall.
