Cary-Grove 3, Woodstock 0: Kevin Weber (2-0) pitched a complete game 2-hitter while striking out 6 as the Trojans (7-7, 3-3) picked up a Fox Valley Conference victory. Weber also recorded the Trojans' only extra-base hit on the day with a double.

Jacobs 8, Grayslake Central 7: The Golden Eagles put together a 5-run second inning to help them take the lead for good as they defeated Grayslake Central at home in this Fox Valley Conference game. Josh Kranz went 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and 4 RBI while Mark Self and Henry Gigeous each went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Greg Leasure earned the victory, tossing 51/3 innings and striking out 5.

Burlington Central 20, Stillman Valley 0: The Rockets (15-1, 2-0) continued to stay hot on offense as they exploded for 20 runs off 10 hits to pick up another victory in this Big Northern crossover. Luke Fleming (3-0) threw a 2-hitter through 4 innings while striking out 6. Austin Jarvis, Nick Hahn, Ray Hunnicutt, and Charley Fletcher all recorded doubles for the Rockets while Sam Klein added a triple.

Dundee-Crown 7, Grayslake North 5: The Chargers (8-7-1, 5-2) held a 7-1 lead heading into the final inning and held off a Grayslake North 4-spot in the top of the seventh to earn another victory in Fox Valley Conference play. Chris Lamprecht paced the Chargers with a 2-for-3 performance with 2 doubles and 3 runs driven in while Dylan Kissack also went 2-for-3 with a double. Chris Garman earned the victory as he pitched 61/3, scattering 6 hits, giving up 2 earned runs while striking out 3.

Larkin 15, Lake Park 5: The Royals' (4-9-1) bats came alive as they registered 15 hits and 15 runs to earn an Upstate Eight Conference victory over foe Lake Park. Scott Harm finished a perfect 4-for-4 on the day with 2 doubles, 4 runs scored, and 5 RBI. Miguel Villafane earned his first varsity victory as he gave up 9 hits and 4 earned runs while striking out 4.

Huntley 11, Crystal Lake Central 10: The Red Raiders (11-1, 5-0) came from behind to pull out another victory and remain undefeated in the Fox Valley Conference, despite committing 6 errors on the afternoon. Chris Klein (2B, 3 RBI) and Bryce Only (2 RBI) each homered for the Red Raiders while Matt Szytz added a double and 2 RBI. Carlos Alvarez earned the victory as he pitched 12/3 innings, scattering 3 hits and striking out 2 while giving up 1 earned run. Klein picked up the save.

Streamwood 15, East Aurora 3: The Sabres (8-4, 3-1) easily defeated the Tomcats of East Aurora to earn another victory in Upstate Eight Conference action. Nate Pearson (2 runs, 3 RBI) and Mike Diebold (3-for-4, 1 run, 1 RBI) not only sparked the Sabres offensively, but also played solid defensively. Richie Gorski picked up the win as he gave up just 1 hit over 2 innings of work while striking out 2.

Crystal Lake South 8, Prairie Ridge 4: The Gators (7-6, 5-2) used timely hitting to defeat the Wolves in this Fox Valley Conference game. Mike Benson (1-1) earned his first victory of the year on the mound to lead the Gators while Billy Wright turned in a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate to ignite the offense.

Neuqua Valley 10, South Elgin 0: The Storm (7-4, 2-3) could not overcome the Wildcats' offense as they were defeated in this Upstate Eight Conference game on the road. Drew Buddle was the lone Storm player to record a multihit game with 2 singles. Nick Schweisthal suffered the loss going 21/3 with 7 hits allowed and 9 earned runs.
