Mayors to meet with Bean

Congresswoman Melissa Bean will host mayors, other local elected officials, and police, fire, and planning officials from communities across the northern Cook County portion of the 8th congressional district at a Cook County Leadership forum Wednesday at Harper College.

Bean will listen to local concerns and update them on federal legislation that could affect the Northwest suburbs. The forum starts at 7:30 a.m. in the Wojcik Conference Center at the college's Palatine campus.
