Harper women claim victory at COD

The Harper College women's basketball ran its record to 14-8 overall and 5-3 in North Central Community College Conference play Saturday thanks to a 46-41 victory over host College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn.

Peggie Parhas (Lake Zurich) led the Hawks in scoring with 19 points to go along with 5 steals. Siobhan Cerney (Schaumburg) added 11 points and 4 rebounds.

The Hawks where without 6-foot forward Betsy Bailey (Palatine), who hurt her knee earlier in the week. Vicky Miszta had 3 rebounds in Bailey's absence.
