Timothy hands Riverside-Brookfield first MSC loss

Timothy Christian 70, Riverside-Brookfield 65: The Trojans (15-5, 4-3) staged an upset in the Metro Suburban Conference, handing the Bulldogs (15-3, 6-1) their first conference loss. Rob Stein led all scorers with 23 points. Mark Penczak was right behind with 20 points and Reggie Greenwood added 12 points.

West Chicago 47, Wheaton North 46: Jeff Robinson's 3-point basket from beyond half-court gave the Wildcats (3-17, 1-7) a stunning victory in the DuPage Valley Conference. Charles Jacques led West Chicago with 13 points. Justin Mundt and Kevin Peterson pitched in 10 points apiece. Nick Barry led Wheaton North (7-12, 2-6) with 16 points.

Fenton 67, Elmwood Park 50: The Bison (8-11, 3-4) rolled to the Metro Suburban Conference win behind 16 points from Dan Montano and Vince Esposito. Emeka Umeadi scored 15 points and Cody Meyer scored 13 points.

Sandwich 50, Lisle 46: Marcus Wilson scored 18 points for the Lions (10-14, 3-5) as they wrapped up play in the Interstate Eight Conference tournament.
