Guilford 62, Dundee-Crown 49: The Chargers (1-9) were outscored 16-4 in the second quarter, ultimately suffering the loss against Rockford Guilford during competition at the Elgin Holiday Tournament. Kevin Cronin led Dundee-Crown with 16 points, while Ryan Smith contributed 11 points. Nate Kirchoff and Sam Bernhard added 8 points apiece.
Huntley 51, Harlem 43: The Red Raiders (9-4) were only up by three points at halftime and then broke away during the second half of action against Harlem at the Chuck Dayton Tournament in DeKalb. Greg Scime led all scorers with 13 points. Troy Miller finished with 10 points, while Richard Gonzaga added 8 points to the victory.
Rochelle 69, Burlington Central 56: The Rockets (4-8) fell behind 42-33 at halftime and could not recover as they were defeated by Rochelle in the Chuck Dayton Tournament at DeKalb. Ray Hunnicutt and Shane Larkin paced the Rockets, turning in double-digits with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Crystal Lake South 47, Woodstock 34: The Gators (6-6) were tied at the end of the third quarter 29-29, but then exploded for 18 points in the fourth to come out with a victory at the Jacobs Holiday Tournament over Woodstock. Kevin Rogers paced the Gators recording double-digits, scoring 11 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter.
Streamwood 47, Niles North 44: The Sabres (5-8) took a 1-point lead into halftime and held on to defeat Niles North at the Wheeling Hardwood Classic. Marcus Lewis and Derrick King led the way for the Sabres turning in double-digit performances of 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Elk Grove 52, Cary-Grove 43: Chad McCarron led Cary-Grove (5-8) in this loss at the Jacobs Holiday Classic.
