Thursday's DuPage County roundup

Naperville North 53, Glenbard North 50: The host Huskies outscored Glenbard North 15-4 in the fourth quarter to rally in the DuPage Valley Conference opener. Colleen Warren scored 14 points and Bria Walker had 13 points and four 3-pointers for Naperville North (2-4, 1-0). Amoni Reynolds scored 22 to pace Glenbard North (0-7, 0-1).

WW South 53, Glenbard East 32: The Tigers (5-1, 1-0 DVC) opened up a 28-10 halftime lead and never looked back in Lombard. Kasey Gassensmith scored 16 points and Annie Shain 13 for WW South. Olivia Trefilek and Lindsey Fairbairn each had 10 points for Glenbard East (2-5, 0-2).

Waubonsie Valley 67, Bartlett 53: Keiera Ray scored 19 points for the No. 6 Warriors (7-0, 1-0 Upstate Eight Conference), who led by 38-23 at halftime and cruised to a win at Bartlett. Tami Morice added 11 points and Tanysha Walls 10 for Waubonsie Valley. Jacki Gulczynski led Bartlett with 21.

Lake Park 52, South Elgin 37: Chelsea Gieseke scored 15 points and Tori Clark 12 for the Lancers (4-2, 1-0 UEC).

Lisle 54, Dwight 51: Jackie Todd scored 16 points and Nicole Urban 11 to pace the host Lions (4-3, 2-0 Interstate Eight Conference).

Hinsdale South 52, Willowbrook 27: The Hornets raced out to a 22-4 lead after one quarter and rolled in Darien. Natalie Tomerlin scored 10 points and Uzo Okoro 9 for Hinsdale South (4-3, 2-0 West Suburban Gold). Mary Flood had 8 for Willowbrook.

St. Joseph 82, Timothy Christian 48: Jordyn Platt had 13 points and 6 rebounds and Maggie VanderWoude 10 points for the Trojans (3-2) in a nonconference loss in Westchester.
