Huntley d. Crystal Lake South: The Red Raiders (21-7, 4-4) pulled off a thrilling 25-22, 26-24 home upset over Fox Valley (Valley) powerhouse Crystal Lake South (21-6, 5-2) Thursday night.

Amy Dion stood out defensively for Huntley with 23 digs while Amanda Carroll added 11 digs to go along with her 21 assists on the night. Ashley Smith and Sam Boesch paced the Red Raiders offensively with 10 and 8 kills respectively.

Caitlin Schumacher led the Gators with 5 kills and Taylor Granell recorded 5 digs on the defensive end.

Bartlett d. Streamwood: The Hawks (20-8, 7-2) dominated offensively from the beginning of the match en route to a 25-13, 25-13 victory over Streamwood on the road. Carly Sahagian recorded a match-high 19 kills while Alyssa Cazzato added 27 assists. Sophomore Tori Burke led the Hawks defensively with 5 digs. The Sabres were led by Melissa Oehlerking, who registered 11 kills, 6 digs, and 1 ace.

South Elgin d. East Aurora: The Storm (9-16-1, 3-6) notched another Upstate Eight Conference victory 25-16, 25-11 on the road against East Aurora. Alyssa Krause led the Storm offensively with 5 kills while Laura Balance and Jasmine Kuro chipped in 4 kills apiece. Courtney Sanocki recorded a team-high 16 assists while Katelyn Stonecipher registered a team-high 6 digs in the victory.

Westminster Christian d. Mooseheart: The Warriors (19-9, 4-4) improved their Northeastern Athletic Conference record to .500 Thursday cruising to an easy victory over Mooseheart 25-11, 25-13 at home. Jessica Benson paced the Warriors with 5 kills, 6 aces, and 2 digs while Moreen Tyrrell added 9 aces from the service line. Hannah Graves also chipped in with 2 kills and 10 assists.

Cary-Grove d. McHenry: The Trojans (28-4, 8-0) continued to stay hot and remain undefeated in Fox Valley (Valley) action as they downed McHenry 25-16, 25-20 on the road. Kelly Lamberti once again paced Cary-Grove's offense with 10 kills and Abbey Heredia led the defensive efforts with 10 digs to go along with her 25 assists.

Hampshire d. Marengo: The Whip-Purs (24-2, 9-0) remain undefeated in Big Northern East action and continued their dominate play as they downed Marengo 25-14, 25-12 at home. Amy Wehrs led the Whip-Purs with 9 kills and 6 digs while Jen Hubbe chipped in 4 kills. Kara Wehrs added 12 assists and 4 aces in the victory.
