Alligator Aquatics: Registration is being accepted for the Master Swim Team fall/winter season. The Master's team is open to all adult swimmers, who can swim 25 years of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke efficiently. Focus is an individually adapted, multi-level, progressive program. Mount Prospect Parks Youth Basketball League: Early bird registration for boys and girls basketball (K-sixth grade) will continue through Sunday, Oct. 11 at RecPlex during regular business hours. Early birds can register for $80-$90. After Oct. 11, fees increase to $90-$100. Fee includes jersey; shorts available for $10. Palatine Park District: Volleyball and basketball leagues begin Jan. 9 and run through March 13, at Falcon Park Recreation Center. Volleyball leagues for grades three, four, five and six; basketball league for grades one and two. Registration will be taken at the Community Center, 250 E. W.C.B.A. Travel Basketball: The World Class Basketball Association runs various travel teams and basketball camps for boys in grades five-high school. The association is currently scheduling evaluations for its 2010 Winter Travel Basketball program, which runs teams out of the Northwest Suburbs. Conant Feeder Boys Basketball: The Conant Feeder Boys Basketball program has announced tryout dates for the 2009-2010 winter season. The program is designed for boys in sixth-eighth grade, who have the desire to play basketball at Conant High School in the future. Players must live in the district to be eligible for these teams. Senior Men's Bowling Travel League: The Northwest Senior Men's Invitational Traveling League is in need of players to bowl every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Open to men, who are over 50, the four man teams are held to a maximum of 760 pins for each of the 24 teams. The alleys bowled at are: Arlington Lanes, Brunswick Zone-Roselle, AMF-Rolling Meadows, Streamwood Bowl, Elk Grove Bowl, Poplar Creek Bowl, Hoffman Lanes, Beverly Lanes and Brunswick Zone-Mount Prospect. Youth Basketball League: South Barrington youth basketball leagues are available for boys and girls in first-eighth grade.
